    "body": "<p><strong>Janine Beckie | #CANWNT | ENG / Manchester City FC</strong></p><p>Janine Beckie won her third Concacaf medal as Canada qualified for<br>\u200bthe Olympic Games for the fourth consecutive time. She finished second on<br>\u200bCanada with four goals in 2020, making her Canada&rsquo;s joint top scorer over the<br>\u200bpast five years with Christine Sinclair. At the club level, she helped<br>\u200bManchester City FC finish second in the league standings in 2019-20 and reach<br>\u200bthe Round of 16 in UEFA Champions League. In November, she became the first<br>\u200bCanadian to score in an FA Cup final.</p><p><strong>Kadeisha Buchanan | #CANWNT | FRA / Olympique Lyonnais</strong></p><p>Kadeisha Buchanan won her third<br>\u200bConcacaf medal as Canada qualified for the Olympic Games for the fourth<br>\u200bconsecutive time. She was one of four Canadians named to the Best XI at the<br>\u200bCONCACAF Women&rsquo;s Olympic Qualifying. At the club level, she won her fourth UEFA<br>\u200bChampions League title, her fourth Championnat de France, and her third Coupe<br>\u200bde France. From January through 23 November, she featured in 17 club matches<br>\u200band scored three goals. She won Canada Soccer Player of the Month honours in<br>\u200bFebruary and August.</p><p><strong>Allysha Chapman | #CANWNT | USA / Houston Dash</strong></p><p>Allysha Chapman won her third<br>\u200bConcacaf medal as Canada qualified for the Olympic Games for the fourth<br>\u200bconsecutive time. At the club level, she helped the Houston Dash win the 2020<br>\u200bNWSL Challenge Cup. Across both the Challenge Cup and Fall Series, she finished<br>\u200bfourth amongst all Canadians in NWSL minutes.</p><p><strong>Jessie Fleming | #CANWNT | ENG / Chelsea FC</strong></p><p>Jessie Fleming won her second<br>\u200bConcacaf medal as Canada qualified for the Olympic Games for the fourth<br>\u200bconsecutive time. She played the second most minutes of any Canadian midfielder<br>\u200band scored at the Concacaf Women&rsquo;s Olympic Qualifiers. At the club level, she<br>\u200bsigned her first professional contract with Chelsea FC in the FA Women&rsquo;s Super<br>\u200bLeague and made her professional debut on 29 August.</p><p><strong>Jordyn Huitema | #CANWNT | FRA / Paris Saint-Germain FC</strong></p><p>Jordyn Huitema won her second<br>\u200bConcacaf medal as Canada qualified for the Olympic Games for the fourth<br>\u200bconsecutive time. She won the Golden Shoe as the tournament&rsquo;s top scorer and<br>\u200bwas one of four Canadians named to the Best XI at the CONCACAF Women&rsquo;s Olympic<br>\u200bQualifying. At the club level, she helped Paris Saint-Germain finish second in<br>\u200bthe league standings in 2019-20 and run out in first place from the first three<br>\u200bmonths of the 2020-21 season. She also reached the Coupe de France final and<br>\u200bthe semi-final stage of UEFA Champions League.</p><p><strong>Stephanie Labb&eacute; | #CANWNT | USA / NC Courage</strong></p><p>Stephanie Labb&eacute; won her fourth<br>\u200bConcacaf medal as Canada qualified for the Olympic Games for the fourth<br>\u200bconsecutive time. She won the Golden Glove and was one of four Canadians named<br>\u200bto the Best XI at the CONCACAF Women&rsquo;s Olympic Qualifying. At the club level,<br>\u200bshe posted two clean sheets in four matches and tied Karina LeBlanc&rsquo;s all-time<br>\u200bCanadian record for NWSL shutouts across all competitions (18).</p><p><strong>Ashley Lawrence | #CANWNT | FRA / Paris Saint-Germain FC</strong></p><p>Ashley Lawrence won her third<br>\u200bConcacaf medal as Canada qualified for the Olympic Games for the fourth<br>\u200bconsecutive time. She was one of four Canadians named to the Best XI at the<br>\u200bCONCACAF Women&rsquo;s Olympic Qualifying. At the club level, she helped Paris<br>\u200bSaint-Germain finish second in the league standings in 2019-20 and run out in<br>\u200bfirst place from the first three months of the 2020-21 season. At the club level, she helped the Houston Dash win the 2020<br>\u200bNWSL Challenge Cup. After missing the back half of 2019 through injury, she<br>\u200breturned to action with Canada at the international level and then finished<br>\u200bfifth amongst all Canadians in NWSL minutes played.</p><p><strong>Sophie Schmidt | #CANWNT | USA / Houston Dash</strong></p><p>Sophie Schmidt led Canada in<br>\u200bminutes played and won her seventh Concacaf medal as Canada qualified for the<br>\u200bOlympic Games for the fourth consecutive time. At the club level, Schmidt led<br>\u200bHouston Dash to the 2020 NWSL Challenge Cup title and became the third-highest<br>\u200bscoring Canadian in the league history. She won Canada Soccer Player of the<br>\u200bMonth honours in September.</p><p><strong>Desiree Scott | #CANWNT | USA / Utah Royals FC</strong></p><p>Desiree Scott won her fourth<br>\u200bConcacaf medal as Canada qualified for the Olympic Games for the fourth<br>\u200bconsecutive time. She played the most minutes of any Canadian midfielder and<br>\u200brecorded two assists in eight international matches.</p><p><strong>Kailen Sheridan | #CANWNT | USA / Sky Blue FC</strong></p><p>Kailen Sheridan won her second Concacaf medal as Canada qualified<br>\u200bfor the Olympic Games for the fourth consecutive time. She featured in two<br>\u200binternational matches in 2020 and posted her sixth career clean sheet. At the<br>\u200bclub level, she won the NWSL Golden Glove award as Sky Blue FC reached the<br>\u200bsemi-final stage of an NWSL semi-final for the first time in seven years. She<br>\u200bwas named the team&rsquo;s Most Valuable Player and Players&rsquo; Player Award winner.</p><p><strong>Christine Sinclair | #CANWNT | USA / Portland Thorns FC</strong></p><p>Christine Sinclair set the<br>\u200bworld&rsquo;s all-time international goalscorer with her 185th goal for Canada on 29<br>\u200bJanuary 2020. She won her ninth Concacaf medal as Canada qualified for the<br>\u200bOlympic Games for the fourth consecutive time. At the club level, Sinclair led<br>\u200bPortland Thorns FC to the 2020 NWSL Community Shield and was the competition&rsquo;s<br>\u200btop scorer with six goals in four matches. Sinclair won Canada Soccer Player of<br>\u200bthe Month honours in January, September and October.</p><p><strong>Shelina Zadorsky | #CANWNT | USA / Orlando Pride &amp; ENG / Tottenham Hotspur</strong></p><p>Shelina Zadorsky won her third Concacaf medal as Canada qualified<br>\u200bfor the Olympic Games for the fourth consecutive time. She finished second on<br>\u200bCanada in minutes played and recorded a goal and two assists at the<br>\u200binternational level. She earned Player of the Match honours in a 2:0 win over<br>\u200bMexico.
