    "body": "<p>The Canadian Deaf Sports Association (CDSA) is pleased to have created a great partnership with the Canadian Soccer Association. The Canadian Soccer Association organized an Eastern Soccer Assessment Camp in Toronto (26-27 March) and it was a huge success. CDSA&rsquo;s National Deaf Soccer Head Coach, Matthew Greenwood, was in charge of the Soccer training Camp.<br>\u200bMatthew Greenwood and the CDSA would like to invite all Deaf Canadian soccer players to come to the Western Assessment camp at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC from 7-8 May 2011. The Head Coach will evaluate the level of the Soccer program and players. Those who missed the Eastern Assessment Camp are welcome to come tryout at the Western Camp.<br>\u200bAfter this camp, the CDSA and the Canadian Soccer Association will proceed to organize a four-year plan based on the strengths and level of the soccer players.<br>\u200bPlayers who are interested in the Soccer Program and camp must :<br>\u200b\u0095 Have a hearing loss of at least 55dB in the better ear (3-tone frequency average at 500, 1000 and 2000 hertz, ISO 1964 standard);<br>\u200bt\u0095 Be a Canadian citizen; and,<br>\u200bt\u0095 Be a member of a provincial deaf sports association.<br>\u200bTo ensure your participation at the assessment camp, interested athletes must contact the CDSA and provide the necessary documentation before 29 April 2011 :<br>\u200bt\u0095 Complete Athlete Card Form (see attached document); and,<br>\u200bt\u0095 Provincial Deaf Sports Association membership confirmation.<br>\u200bThe CDSA and Canadian Soccer Association are not responsible for transportation, accommodation and meals of the athletes during the camp. All expenses must be paid by the athlete.<br>\u200bThe Canadian Deaf Sports Association is a non-profit, private corporation programs that will bring awareness to Canadians, elite athletes including send teams to with hearing loss of 55dB in each of both ears at all levels of sports. The CDSA is the governing body for Team Canada participating to the Deaflympics, Panamerican Games for the Deaf and various World Deaf Championships.<br>\u200bThe Canadian Soccer Association, in partnership with its members and all its corporate partners, provides leadership in the pursuit of excellence in soccer, both at the national and international levels.
