    "body": "<p>North American nations learned the host cities for this year&rsquo;s 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup in the United States. Thirteen different cities will host the confederation championship &ndash; one for each day of matches. The 2009 Gold Cup runs 3-26 July.<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200bThe final schedule and groups&rsquo; draw will be announced at a later date. The 12 teams participating are Canada, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama and USA.<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200bThe opening round runs 3-12 July. The first group plays in Los Angeles on 3 July, Columbus on 7 July and Miami on 10 July. The next group plays in Seattle on 4 July, Washington on 8 July and Boston on 11 July. The third group plays in San Francisco on 5 July, Houston on 9 July and Phoenix on 12 July.<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200bEight teams advance beyond the group phase. Four teams play their quarter-final stage in Philadelphia on 18 July while the other four teams play their quarter-final stage in Dallas on 19 July.
