TSN partners with NWSL to broadcast the 2023 season

The National Women’s Soccer League’s complete 2023 season will be broadcast on TSN. The NWSL announced their partnership with the Canadian sports broadcaster stating their distribution of all matches including the 2023 NWSL Championship available across the network in Canada this season. Live match coverage will air [in English] across TSN and TSN+.

“The NWSL is the proud home to a number of Canadian players and providing fans in Canada with as many opportunities as possible to watch those players compete was a priority for us this offseason,” said NWSL Commissioner Jessica Berman. “We’re proud to partner with TSN to make that goal a reality as we continue expanding coverage opportunities for our growing audiences around the world.”

The 2023 NWSL season will kick off Saturday 25 March. A full broadcast schedule including platform-specific details will be available in the coming days on TSN channels including https://www.tsn.ca/soccer.

This season marks the NWSL’s 11th season since it was inaugurated in 2013 by US Soccer, Canada Soccer and the Mexican Football Federation. Of the 12 clubs in the NWSL 10 feature Canadians. The current reigning NWSL champions Portland Thorns FC feature Christine Sinclair and Janine Beckie members of Canada Soccer’s Women’s National Team Players.
