TELUS Canadian Championship Semi-Final Match Dates Confirmed
Vancouver Whitecaps FC to face CF Montréal, while Forge FC await the winner of Atlético Ottawa and FC Supra du Québec
Canada Soccer has confirmed the match dates for the 2026 TELUS Canadian Championship Semi-Finals, with four clubs set to compete across a two-leg series for a place in the Final and the opportunity to lift the Voyageurs Cup.
The first Semi-Final will feature an all-MLS matchup between Vancouver Whitecaps FC and CF Montréal. The opening leg will take place on Wednesday 2 September at BC Place in Vancouver, with the return leg scheduled for Wednesday 16 September at Stade Saputo in Montréal.
Forge FC will face the winner of the Quarter-Final series between Atlético Ottawa and FC Supra du Québec in the second Semi-Final. The opening leg will be played on Tuesday 1 September at either TD Place in Ottawa or Stade Boréale in Laval, depending on the outcome of the Quarter-Final. Forge FC will then host the second leg on Tuesday 15 September at Hamilton Stadium.
The winners of the two Semifinal series will advance to the 2026 TELUS Canadian Championship Final on Wednesday 21 October. The Final will be hosted by either Vancouver Whitecaps FC or CF Montréal, as determined by the official draw conducted earlier this year.
As with the Quarter-Finals, the Semi-Finals are organised as a home-and-away series whereby the team with the most goals scored across two matches advances to the next round. If the aggregate score is tied after two matches, then the series will be determined in either extra time, or if necessary, a penalty shootout.
New for the Semi-Finals and the Final, Canada Soccer will implement Football Video Support to support match officials across the last five matches of the 2026 TELUS Canadian Championship. The introduction of Football Video Support in these two rounds will complement the use of the 2026-27 IFAB Laws of the Game which have been in place since the Preliminary Round.

The Final of the 2026 TELUS Canadian Championship will take place on Wednesday 21 October, hosted by either Vancouver Whitecaps FC or CF Montréal. The pathway responsible for hosting the final was determined during the official competition draw.
