    "body": "<p>Canada Soccer announced six clubs as part of its June 2021 cohort of its National Youth Club Licensing Program. Edmonton Interdistrict Youth Soccer Association Football Club (EIYSA FC) earned the sole National Youth Club Licence for Q2 2021. Nova Scotia&rsquo;s Halifax Dunbrack Soccer Club, New Brunswick&rsquo;s Codiac Soccer Inc., and Manitoba&rsquo;s Phantom Lake Soccer Club, Swan Valley Youth Soccer, and Lorette Soccer Club each earned the Quality Soccer Provider designation.<br>\u200b<br>\u200b&ldquo;We are pleased to announce that these clubs have committed to the standards of the Canada Soccer National Youth Club Licensing Program and have been able to accomplish the requirements of the categories that they have achieved in spite of the challenges of a global pandemic,&rdquo; said Jason deVos, Canada Soccer&rsquo;s Director of Development. &ldquo;The Club Licensing Program exists to raise the level of soccer in this country and ensure a safe, welcoming, and developmentally-appropriate soccer environment for all participants in support of the Canada Soccer Safe Sport Roster.&rdquo;<br>\u200b<br>\u200bThe National Youth Club Licence is the highest designation in the Canada Soccer National Youth Club Licensing Program and fulfills the requirements of EIYSA to compete in the Alberta Youth Soccer League, the top standards-based competition for youth participants in Alberta beginning in 2022.<br>\u200b<br>\u200bThe Quality Soccer Provider, which Canada Soccer has made a requirement of membership starting in 2023, ensures that member organization clubs meet the standards required to fulfill the requirements of Canada Soccer&rsquo;s Safe Sport Roster which was unanimously adopted at the 2019 Canada Soccer Annual Meeting of the Members.
