This marks Canada&rsquo;s second win of the tournament and places them first in Group C with six points. Canada&rsquo;s finishes first-round play on March 5 against Portugal (16.15h local time). Portugal lost their first game 1-0 to Wales.<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200bChristine Sinclair opened the scoring in the 28th minute with a volley from 15-yards out to give Canada a 1-0 lead at halftime. Adding to the score in the 63rd minute was 15 year-old Kara Lang. Lang scored on a good drive from inside the box for her first goal with the senior side.<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200bSinclair added her second goal of the game, and 23rd career goal, after a bad clearance from the Welsh defence. Lang finished the scoring, in the 89th minute, with a left foot drive into the far corner.
