Ottawa, Ontario \u0096 Canadian Women’s World Cup Team head coach Even Pellerud today named his 16-player roster for the upcoming friendly against the United States on July 3rd at The Coliseum in Nashville, Tennessee at 7:00 p.m. CT (8:00 p.m. ET).

\u200bNew to the World Cup roster is Emily Zurrer of Crofton, BC who was recently named MVP at the CONCACAF U-19 Qualifying Tournament where Canada defeated the United States in extra time and claimed a berth at the FIFA U-19 Women’s World Championship in Thailand.

\u200bOther U-19 team players on this roster include Aysha Jamani, Kara Lang, Véronique Maranda, and Brittany Timko. All four have earned caps at the senior level.
