    "body": "<p>Ottawa, Ontario \u0096 Canadian Women&rsquo;s World Cup Team Head Coach Even Pellerud today announced his 19-player roster for the England series which take place on Monday, May 19th in Montreal and Thursday, May 22nd in Ottawa.<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200bThe roster includes five Women&rsquo;s United Soccer Association (WUSA) players; Breanna Boyd (Carolina Courage), Charmaine Hooper (Atlanta Beat) Christine Latham (San Diego Spirit), Karina LeBlanc (Boston Breakers), and Sharolta Nonen (Atlanta Beat).<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200bHooper is an Ottawa native who played for the Nepean Hotspurs who has earned 94 caps and 56 goals with the national team. Kristina Kiss who plays for Floya of the Norwegian Premier League is another Ottawa native included on the roster. Kiss spent several seasons with the Ottawa Fury of the W-League.<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200bThe Vancouver Whitecaps are also well represented with Kara Lang, Andrea Neil, Christine Sinclair, and Brittany Timko.<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200bEngland, one of the top ranked countries in the world, was narrowly eliminated by France 1-0 for the fifth and final spot in European qualifying play last November for the 2003 FIFA Women&rsquo;s World Cup.<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200b\u0093England has one of the best teams in Europe,\u0094 said Pellerud. \u0093I would rank them among top 12 in the world. They play with typical British organization and enthusiasm, and the team will be a strong and a relevant opponent for our team in the ongoing effort to prepare for 2003 World Cup.\u0094<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200bEngland will arrive in Montreal on Saturday May 17th, following their game against the United States.<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200bThe match in Montreal will be played at Catalogna Soccerplexe in Lachine at 7:00 p.m. All tickets are general admission and are priced at $5 per person and are available through the Quebec Soccer Federation (FQSF): 514-252-3068 or www.federation-soccer.qc.ca.<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200b\u0093I strongly hope that fans in Montreal will give us the support we need. All the staff and players look forward to playing in Quebec. The outdoor pitch is an international sized facility featuring a FieldTurf playing surface.<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200bThe second game of the series will be played at Ottawa&rsquo;s Frank Clair Stadium at 7:00 p.m. on May 22, 2003. Frank Clair is a 30,000 seat facility featuring a FieldTurf playing surface. The pitch has received \u0093FIFA recommended\u0094 status and is therefore eligible to be used for international play at any level.<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200bTickets are still available through Ticketmaster for the Ottawa match.
