Ottawa, Ontario \u0096 Canadian Women’s World Cup Team Head Coach Even Pellerud today announced his 18-player roster for the Algarve Cup tournament which will take place in Portugal from March 14-20.

\u200bChristine Latham, will make her first appearance for Canada since 2001 after missing out last year due to school commitments. Latham was recently signed as a \u0093Discovery Player\u0094 by San Diego of WUSA. Candace Chapman is back on the roster following a fall injury, while Diana Matheson, an Ontario National Training Centre product, earns her first call up with the team.

\u200bVeterans Kristina Kiss and Randee Hermus traveled to Norway last month for a trial with women’s premier side Floya. The two are close to signing contracts with the club which will see them play in Norway until mid July.
