    "body": "<p>Canada&rsquo;s coverage of the 2008 Women&rsquo;s Olympic Football Tournament begins this Wednesday 6 August on CBC television. The Canada-Argentina match will be broadcast in the early hours at 04.30 ET or 01.30 PT. It will be the first of three group matches that Canada will play from 6-12 August.<br>\u200bCanada&rsquo;s women&rsquo;s football team is currently in Tianjin, China putting the final touches on its preparations. Canada will play at least two matches at the Tianjin Olympic Sports Center Stadium: Wednesday 6 August against Argentina and Saturday 9 August against China.<br>\u200bThe 6 August broadcast will be CBC&rsquo;s first for the 2008 Olympic Games as the Women&rsquo;s Olympic Football Tournament kicks off two mornings before the opening ceremonies. The women&rsquo;s football team will not take part in the opening ceremonies as it will still be in Tianjin in anticipation of its 9 August match against China.<br>\u200bThe 6 August broadcast will be CBC&rsquo;s first for the 2008 Olympic Games. The official Opening Ceremonies take place two mornings later on Friday 8 August.<br>\u200bAlong with its two matches in Tianjin, Canada is also guaranteed one match at the Workers&rsquo; Stadium in Beijing on 12 August. Canada faces Sweden that day to complete the round-robin group stage.</p>",
