New Club+ Sections Advance Goal of Supporting Clubs, Coaches, and Families Across Canada

Canada Soccer’s Club Plus continues to grow as a national platform that helps community clubs build a bigger, better, and more connected soccer community across the country.

Capitalizing on Excitement and Momentum

With the FIFA World Cup 2026™ on the horizon, soccer in Canada is experiencing a once-in-a-generation surge in attention and interest. But turning excitement into long-term participation requires more than momentum– it requires practical, accessible support for clubs on the ground. Club+ is designed to help meet that moment, supporting clubs across Canada as they work to convert interest into lasting engagement in the game.

Club+ provides clubs with free, flexible access to tools, templates, and resources that support growth across all areas of club operations—from marketing and sponsorship, to coach recruitment, Safe Sport, and community engagement. The platform also includes ready-to-use assets, video resources, customizable templates, and opportunities for clubs to connect through webinars, all designed to simplify day-to-day club work and share best practices across the country.

Within this growing platform, two new sections and new marketing resources have been added to further support the community clubs that underpin the soccer experience.

New Club+ Sections & Added Content

The new Grassroots Coaching Resources and Parent Engagement sections provide clubs with practical, ready-to-use tools to strengthen player experiences, support volunteers, and build more consistent, positive club environments.

The Grassroots Coaching Resources section brings together session ideas, small-sided game guidance, program-structure tools, and practical educational resources to help volunteer coaches feel more confident and prepared. Guided by Canada Soccer’s Grassroots Standards and Coach Education Program, the content supports player-centred, play-based environments that prioritize enjoyment, learning, and long-term participation while helping support coaches with limited experience or time. Materials include ready-to-use session plans, video explainers, and a range of practical tools to support delivery on and off the field.

The Parent Engagement section focuses on helping clubs and coaches build stronger relationships with families through clear expectations, proactive communication, and shared alignment. It includes practical tools such as welcome templates, preseason parent meeting guides, and educational resources that support positive environments, Safe Sport principles, and consistent communication with families. The goal is to help clubs establish clarity early and build stronger relationships from the very first interaction, shifting toward more proactive and consistent engagement with parents and caregivers.

The Marketing Toolkit section has also been expanded with new “Our Game Now” resources designed to help clubs build excitement around Canada Soccer’s Men’s National Team and engage their communities throughout the FIFA World Cup 2026™. The new materials include customizable social media templates, window posters, viewing party posters, group schedule graphics, and on-field signage assets available in both English and French. Clubs can easily personalize select materials with their own logo and share content across their channels to encourage participation, promote viewing events, and celebrate the tournament within their local soccer communities.
