I have taken this opportunity to expand the pool of players for the senior national team program by bringing in several players who haven’t been involved in the national team set up in the past.”

Morace has drawn her roster from a diverse set of sources, including five players who spent 2009 on WPS rosters, five from CIS Universities, three from European club sides, and two from NCAA college teams. Included on the roster are 13 players from the squad that faced the USA during the summer series between the two nations.

In February, the team began a new era under the direction of new head coach Carolina Morace. Since arriving, Morace has led Canada through a full training camp in California, to a second place finish at the Cyprus Cup, and faced the USA in a three match summer series.

The Canadian women’s national team is currently ranked 13th in the world rankings. Canada, whose title partner is Winners and whose presenting partner is Teck, remains the second-ranked team within CONCACAF behind the world’s number-one ranked nation, USA.

CANADA

G- Karina LeBlanc | USA / LA Sol

G- Erin McLeod | USA / Washington Freedom

G- Geneviève Richard | CAN / NTC – Québec

D- Myriam Bouchard | USA / Virgina Commonwealth University

D- Candace Chapman | USA / FC Gold Pride

D- Emily Zurrer | Unattached

D- Sasha Andrews | Unattached

D- Carmelina Moscato | ITA / U.P.C Tavagnacco

D- Robyn Gayle | USA / FC Indiana

D- Marie Eve Nault | USA / Chicago Red 11

D- Brittany Timko | Unattached

M- Desiree Scott | CAN / University of Manitoba

M- Diana Matheson | NOR / Team Strommen FK

M- Sari Raber | Unattached

M- Allysa Lagonia | CAN / Wilfred Laurier University

M- Caley Miskimmin | CAN / University of Manitoba

M- Rhian Wilkinson | NOR / Team Strommen FK

M- Kelly Parker | Unattached

F- Christina Julien | CAN / James Madison University

F- Christine Sinclair | USA / FC Gold Pride

F- Kendra Flock | CAN / University of Victoria

F- Josée Bélanger | CAN / Université Sherbrooke

Head Coach / Entraîneure-chef : Carolina Morace

Assistant Coach / Entraîneure-adjoint : Elisabetta Bavagnoli

Assistant Coach / Entraîneure-adjoint : Andrea Neil

Goalkeeper coach / Entraîneur des gardiens : Massimiliano Colucci

Manager / Gérant : Daniel Michelucci

Equipment Manager / Gérant d’équipement : Maeve Glass

Doctor / Docteur : Dr. Andrew Pipe

Physiotherapist / Physiothérapeute : Judy Russell

Massage Therapist / Massothérapeute : Nicole Stephen

Conditioning Coach / Entraîneur du conditionnement physique : Mario Familiari

Translator / Traducteur : Joe Parolini

",
