At the elite club level, Canada Soccer supports domestic futsal through the annual Futsal Canadian Championship for men and women. The Men’s Futsal Canadian Championship was launched in 2015, with the Women’s Futsal Canadian Championship introduced in 2023, reflecting the continued growth of the sport nationwide. This past year, Canada qualified for the first edition of the FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup™.

This year’s competition will feature a record 10 provinces and territories represented across the men’s and women’s divisions. For the first time ever, the Futsal Canadian Championship will introduce Quarterfinals and Semifinals in both divisions. The enhanced format ensures a full four-day competition with meaningful matches for all participating teams. Matches will be broadcast live on FIFA+ including both Canadian Finals on Sunday 12 April.
