Canada Soccer seeks qualified candidates for the Competitions Committee starting February 2026

Canada Soccer is seeking qualified candidates to serve on its Competitions Committee commencing February 2026.

As a group, the Canada Soccer Competitions Committee oversees national amateur competitions including the annual Futsal Canadian Championship, Player-Development Program Championship, and National Championships. The committee itself is an Operational Committee featuring Canada Soccer staff alongside volunteers with expertise and interest in Canada Soccer’s competitions and their Regulations.

The Competitions Committee features: volunteers with an extensive background in organising competitions at the provincial/territorial or national level; one competitions staff invited from Canada Soccer’s Provincial/Territorial Soccer Organisations; one municipal specialist familiar with event hosting; Canada Soccer staff from across different functional areas. The selected volunteers serve a two-year term after which they may re-apply for continued selection.

A résumé and cover letter should be submitted to the Canada Soccer Competitions staff via competitions@canadasoccer.com before Thursday 5 February 2026. Nominees must be 18 years or older, have a valid driving licence, and hold a current E-PIC certificate for working with youth and vulnerable adults. Over the course of their two-year term, selected volunteers will participate in regular Committee meetings (key meetings typically scheduled in March and November) and potentially serve on the Organising Committee for Canada Soccer’s national amateur competitions.
