Langley United qualified for the 2027 TELUS Canadian Championship

Langley United have won their second-straight BC Premier League title to qualify for the 2027 TELUS Canadian Championship. Langley United clinched the title on Saturday 27 June after they secured first place with still one match remaining on their 2026 schedule.

Langley United will close out their 2026 regular season on Sunday 5 July, but they already have 32 points from 13 matches with 10 wins, two draws and one loss. TSS Rovers FC will finish second even if they finish on 32 points because Langley United have won the season's head-to-head series (TSS Rovers FC have 29 points after 13 matches).

Langley United qualified for the 2026 TELUS Canadian Championship after they won the 2025 BC Premier League with 33 points from 16 matches (10 wins, three draws, three losses). In May 2026, they played their first-ever TELUS Canadian Championship match, but lost 2-0 to Vancouver FC.

Founded in 1926, Langley United celebrates their 100th anniversary this year.

The TELUS Canadian Championship brings together clubs from Major League Soccer, the Canadian Premier League, and Premier Soccer Leagues Canada to determine Canada’s best team in the annual Battle of the North. Winners of the domestic TELUS Canadian Championship qualify for the annual international competition Concacaf Champions Cup on the road to the FIFA Club World Cup.
