    "body": "<p>Stefan Karajovanovic of Gloucester Celtic FC and Marie-Jo&euml;lle Landry of CS Trident Ancienne-Lorette were named the Most Valuable Players of this year&#039;s Toyota National Championships in Surrey, British Columbia. Karajovanovic helped Gloucester Celtic FC win their third national men&#039;s amateur title in 12 years while Landry led CS Trident to their first national women&#039;s amateur title.</p><p>Karajovanovic, a 25-year old midfielder who grew up in Gatineau, Qu&eacute;bec across the river from Ottawa, led Ottawa&#039;s Gloucester Celtic FC with three goals in five matches at the 2024 Toyota National Championships. He helped Gloucester Celtic FC win 1:0 over Nova Scotia&#039;s Suburban FC in the Canadian Final.</p><p>Landry, a 20-year old midfielder from Qu&eacute;bec City, captained CS Trident to their first title after a 3-1 win on penalties in the Canadian Final. CS Trident were trailing 1-0 late before Landry caused the turnover that led to the equalising goal. This was Landry&#039;s second Toyota National Championships after CS Trident finished in third place in 2022.</p><p>Across the youth divisions, Nazarii Bulyhin (Saskatoon Alliance) and Jill Varney (Edmonton BTB SC) won MVP honours at the U-17 Cup in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia while Romano Campagna (Burlington Force SA) and Hadley Nelson (Edmonton Warriors SC) won MVP honours at the U-15 Cup in Quinte West, Ontario.</p><p>Canada Soccer&rsquo;s Toyota National Championships are hosted each October across six divisions in three venues: the men&rsquo;s Challenge Trophy and women&rsquo;s Jubilee Trophy (adult competitions) in Surrey, British Columbia; the U-17 Cup in Cape Breton for boys and girls; the U-15 Cup in Quinte West for boys and girls.</p><p>At all age levels, Canada Soccer&rsquo;s national amateur competitions provide a meaningful soccer experience for host cities and participating teams, including the players, coaches, support staff, officials and volunteers.
