Canadian Men’s World Cup Team head coach Frank Yallop has added 24-year-old defender Stathios Kapos to his roster for the training camp in Ft. Lauderdale and international friendly against Barbados.

​Kapos plays with AEK Athens in the Greek First Division and plays right back. He holds dual Canadian and Greek citizenship and is expected to join the team today.

​Yallop’s squad now numbers 16 players. Some members of the Olympic team are training at the same facility and Yallop will hold intra-squad games in the next few days with Olympic team head coach Bruce Twamley. The Olympic team is scheduled to play Mexican club side Necaxa on Thursday.
