Japan Defeats Canada 3-0

The Canadian Women’s World Cup Team was defeated 3-0 by Japan on Friday in front of 27,262 spectators at Tokyo’s National Stadium.

​Josee Belanger, Sari Raber, Leah Robinson, and Katie Thorlakson all earned their first cap with the senor team.

​Milo Otani scored Japan’s first two goals in the ninth and 11th minutes. The third and final goal of the match was a Canadian own goal in the 78th minute.
