Hamilton Soccer Hall of Fame

Footballers Rhian Dodds, Francis Foy, Bobby Pretto, Malcolm Sinclair and Josie Tucceri will all be honoured by the Hamilton Soccer Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2023. The five former players will be honoured alongside builders Alex Forheringham, Harry Poree and Bobby Rusic as well as former FIFA referee Peter Johnson.

Dr. Nick Bontis will be honoured with the President’s Award while Hamilton’s Legion 58 will be recognised as a Team of Distinction, Hamilton Star will be recognised as a Club of Distinction, and Guido des Bres will be recognised in the High School category.

The Class of 2023 will be honoured at the Hamilton Soccer Hall of Fame’s Induction Dinner on 12 May 2023 at the Michelangelo Banquet Centre.

Both Dodds and Pretto were part of Canada Soccer’s National Teams Youth Program, with Dodds also selected to represent the Men’s National Team at the 2005 Concacaf Gold Cup. Dodds notably played professional football in Scotland with Kilmarnock FC while Pretto played in the Canadian Soccer League predominantly with the Hamilton Steelers.
