Eight youth teams reach Finals at the 2026 PDP Championship

All Sunday matches broadcast for free via FIFA+ on DAZN

Eight teams representing six clubs will compete for national youth titles on Sunday at Canada Soccer’s annual Player-Development Program Championship. The eight teams will meet in four youth divisions finals in the U-17 and U-15 age categories at Parc George-Springate and Terra-Cotta Natural Park, respectively.

In all, 32 youth teams have competed this week at the 2026 PDP Championship. Those 32 teams qualified from a group 236 youth teams competing in four divisions across Canada’s four standards-based leagues: the BC Soccer Premier League, the Alberta Player-Development League, the Ontario Player-Development League, and the Québec Youth Soccer Premier League (PLSJQ).

For the PDP U-15 Cup at Terra-Cotta Natural Park, the boys’ Final will feature Ottawa South United SC against Woodbridge SC at 13.00 local (13.00 ET / 10.00 PT). The girls’ Final will feature Pickering FC against North Mississauga SC at 11.15 local (11.15 ET / 08.15 PT). There will be one medal ceremony for both U-15 divisions following the second PDP U-15 Cup Final.

For the PDP U-17 Cup at Parc George-Springate in Montréal, the first Final will feature Woodbridge SC against Vaughan SC in the boys’ division at 16.15 local (with a live broadcast on FIFA+ at 16.15 ET / 13.15 PT). The last Sunday Final will feature Woodbridge SC against Surrey United SC in the girls’ division at 19.00 local (19.00 ET / 16.00 PT). There will be one medal ceremony for both U-17 divisions following the second PDP U-17 Cup Final.

As the preeminent week to Canada Soccer’s Player-Development Program, the annual PDP Championship brings together Canada’s bright young talents from four competing leagues in four divisions for boys and girls in the U-17 and U-15 age divisions. Hosted this year with Soccer Québec, the 2026 PDP Championship is played in the Montréal borough of Pierrefonds-Roxboro (Parc George-Springate and Parc Grier) and its neighbouring City of Pointe-Claire (Terra-Cotta Natural Park).

All 16 matches on Sunday 30 August will be broadcast live on FIFA+ (available free on Dazn), including medal matches in all four divisions.
