Ottawa, Ontario – The Canadian Soccer Association announced today that should it advance past the first round of World Cup Qualifying, its second home game of the CONCACAF semi-final round would be played at Edmonton’s Commonwealth Stadium on September 4. The decision to announce the game before the first round series against Belize on June 13 and 16 was made to assist local organizers in preparing for the game.

​More information on this game will follow should Canada be successful in its first round qualifying series against Belize on June 13 and 16 in Kingston, Ontario.

​The winner of the two-game series will advance to the semi-final round with three other CONCACAF countries. Should Canada reach the semi-final they would host the winner of the Honduras v Netherlands Antilles series on September 4th.
