OTTAWA (ONTARIO) – Canadian fans hoping to follow the men’s national team at the CONCACAF Gold Cup can now purchase tickets to Canada’s opening round matches in Miami, FL. Canada will face Costa Rica on 6 June, Guadeloupe on 9 June, and Haiti on 11 June. All three games will be played at the Orange Bowl in Miami.

​Canada recently won their first international match of the year, a 3:0 victory over Bermuda in Hamilton, Bermuda. Atiba Hutchinson, Tomasz Radzinski and Paul Stalteri scored for Canada while Lars Hirschfeld picked up the shutout. In March 2007 (before their 25 March friendly against Bermuda), Canada was the 13th-ranked CONCACAF country in the FIFA World Rankings.

​From the tournament’s 16-year history (eight finals), Canada were Gold Cup champions in 2000.
