COC Statement regarding Jayde Riviere

PARIS (July 25, 2024) – Canadian athlete Jayde Riviere has been ruled out of today’s women’s soccer team match against New Zealand due to an ankle injury. The injury was sustained on July 17 during an Olympic preparation match versus Nigeria.

Shelina Zadorsky (London, Ont.) will replace Riviere on the roster for today’s match.
