Canada – FIFA Series 2026™ Women’s Group (Brazil, host)

  • Canada
  • Brazil
  • Korea Republic
  • Zambia

The women’s competition which CANWNT will compete in will be hosted in Brazil. The team will compete alongside hosts Brazil, Korea Republic and Zambia. The group offers CANWNT the opportunity to test itself against a diverse range of international opponents, including one of the world’s top-ranked teams and strong representatives from multiple confederations.

“This is an exciting opportunity to test ourselves against three quality opponents with contrasting styles. Playing in a country with such a strong football culture only raises the level, and experiences like this are essential as we continue to raise our standards and pursue our goals.”

-  Casey Stoney, Women’s National Team Head Coach

The FIFA Series 2026™ women’s competition will be hosted across three countries (Brazil, Côte d’Ivoire and Thailand), with all six FIFA confederations represented. The initiative is designed to create meaningful international matchups that support competitive development while maintaining balance within the international match calendar.

Beyond the pitch, the FIFA Series also supports broader football development by giving host and participating Member Associations experience in international event delivery, competition operations and referee development, mirroring the demands of major global tournaments.

All FIFA Series 2026™ matches will be broadcast worldwide, increasing visibility for the women’s game and providing fans in Canada and around the world with access to international women’s football across multiple regions.

Match schedules for the FIFA Series 2026™ will be announced in the weeks ahead.
