Carly Wickenheiser called into camp for the Pinatar Cup in replacement of Bianca St-Georges

Canada Soccer can confirm that Carly Wickenheiser has been called into camp for the 2025 Pinatar Cup, replacing Bianca St-Georges.

Wickenheiser, born in St. Louis, Missouri, earns her first call-up to the Canadian program at 27 years old. The midfielder, who currently plays for BK Häcken in Sweden, holds dual Canadian and American citizenship.

I'm very excited to bring somebody new into this squad, and I am looking forward to working with Carly in the upcoming camp and seeing what she can add to our midfield unit.

-Casey Stoney, Women's National Team Head Coach

St-Georges, who was originally named to the squad, will remain with North Carolina Courage to continue her return-to-play process, as she was not expected to be physically ready in time for the competition.
