CANMNT to play USMNT this October in Minnesota

Canada Soccer and U.S. Soccer have announced that Canada Soccer's Men's National Team (CANMNT) will play the United States in an international match in the September-October 2026 window. The match will take place on Tuesday 6 October at Allianz Field in St. Paul, Minnesota, at 19:00 CT.

This will mark the 43rd meeting between the two nations since the rivalry began in 1925. Canada has won each of the last two meetings against the Americans: a 2:1 win in Kansas City in September 2024 which snapped a 67-year winless run on U.S. soil, followed by a 2:1 victory in the 2024-25 Concacaf Nations League third-place match at SoFi Stadium last March.

The Homecoming ​

Before travelling to Minnesota, Canada will play two matches at home as part of "The Homecoming". Canada will host Chile at BMO Field in Toronto on Saturday 26 September and Peru at Stade Saputo in Montréal on Saturday 3 October, before closing out the window against the United States. Canada Soccer can confirm that these three matches will complete the September-October 2026 window for CANMNT.
