CANMNT to face Ecuador in International Friendly this November at BMO Field in Toronto
Canada Soccer has announced that its Men’s National Team (CANMNT) will face Ecuador in an international friendly at BMO Field in Toronto on Thursday 13 November 2025. The match, presented by Visa Canada, will kick off at 19:30 ET. The Canada – Ecuador match is a co-production of MLSE, SPORTFIVE, and Lions Sports Media.
Tickets for the CANMNT v Ecuador match will go on sale 12 September, following a series of advance presale windows for CanadaRED members.
This will mark the second-ever meeting between CANMNT and Ecuador, following their first encounter in a June 2011 friendly which ended in a 2:2 draw at BMO Field. Both Canada and Ecuador have already secured qualification for the FIFA World Cup 26™, with Ecuador currently ranked inside the world’s Top 25 and sitting second in CONMEBOL World Cup Qualifying standings.

CANMNT’s Fall schedule is nearly complete, with another November friendly set to be announced in the coming weeks. In September, Canada will travel to Europe for friendlies against Romania (FIFA Rank #48) and Wales (FIFA Rank #31). In October, Canada will host Australia (FIFA Rank #24) at Stade Saputo in Montréal and play an away match in New Jersey against Colombia (FIFA Rank #14).
