CANMNT Squad Named for 2026/27 Concacaf Nations League Quarterfinals Against Guatemala

CANMNT Captain, Alphonso Davies returns as squad assembles for two-legged series against Guatemala, opening in Guatemala City on 13 November before decisive second leg at BMO Field in Toronto on 16 November

Canada Soccer has announced the selection of 23 players who will represent Canada Soccer's Men's National Team (CANMNT) in the 2026/27 Concacaf Nations League A Quarterfinals during the November 2026 FIFA International Window.

Canada will open the two-legged series against Guatemala at Estadio Manuel Felipe Carrera in Guatemala City on Friday 13 November (9:00 PM ET) before hosting the second leg at BMO Field in Toronto on Monday 16 November (8:00 PM ET).

Tickets for Canada's Quarterfinal home leg against Guatemala at BMO Field are on sale now via Ticketmaster.ca starting at $55.00, plus applicable fees. Canada Soccer prefers Visa.

“This is an important window for us. There's a Nations League Finals place and a Gold Cup spot on the line, and we know how tough it will be to go to Guatemala City and get a result. We want to take care of business there, then come home to BMO Field and finish the job in front of our fans.” - Jesse Marsch, Canada Soccer's Men's National Team Head Coach

The winner of the series advances to the Concacaf Nations League Finals at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles in March 2027 and qualifies directly for the 2027 Concacaf Gold Cup, while the loser will participate in the Gold Cup preliminary round.

Canada earned a bye directly into the Quarterfinals as one of the region's four top-ranked nations, alongside Mexico, the United States and Panama. Guatemala advanced as winners of League A Group B, reaching the Nations League Quarterfinals for the first time in program history.

The two nations have met twice in the last 18 months with Guatemala having eliminated Canada in a penalty shootout in the 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup Quarterfinals, before Canada claimed a 1:0 win at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles in January.

The matches will close out a landmark 2026 for CANMNT, following the program's historic run to the Round of 16 at FIFA World Cup 2026™.
