    "body": "<p>The Canadian Finals are set for the 2026 National Championships in Ottawa, St. John&#039;s and Surrey this Thanksgiving Monday. </p><p style=\"text-align: left\">Canada Soccer&rsquo;s National Championships are hosted each October across multiple divisions and venues, with the 2026 U-17 Cup hosted in St. John&rsquo;s, Newfoundland and Labrador and the U-15 Cup hosted in Surrey, British Columbia. As Canada Soccer&rsquo;s largest national event featuring clubs from coast to coast to coast, the National Championships provide a meaningful week-long soccer experience for host cities and participating teams, as well as the players, coaches, support staff, officials, and volunteers.</p><p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>OTTAWA - MEN&#039;S FINAL for the CHALLENGE TROPHY</strong><br>\u200bJulian de Guzman Park - 10.00 local (10.00 ET / 07.00 PT)</p><p style=\"text-align: left\">Gloucester Celtic, the hosts and three-time national champions, will face four-time champions Vancouver ICSF Columbus FC in the men&#039;s Canadian Final for the Challenge Trophy. Gloucester Celtic reached the Final as the best-ranked group winner (with a rest day on Sunday) while Vancouver reached the Final after a 4:1 victory over bronze-medal winners CS Dieppe. Gloucester were previously national winners in 2013, 2022 and 2024 while Vancouver were national winners in 1964, 1969, 1977 and 1978.</p><p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>OTTAWA - WOMEN&#039;S FINAL for the JUBILEE TROPHY</strong><br>\u200bJulian de Guzman Park - 13.00 local (13.00 ET / 10.00 PT)</p><p style=\"text-align: left\">Former champions Coquitlam Metro-Ford SC will face Saskatoon LAFC Unity in the women&#039;s Canadian Final for the Jubilee Trophy. Coquitlam reached the Final as the best-ranked group winner (with a rest day on Sunday) while Saskatoon won 3-1 on kicks to beat bronze-medal winners Northwest United / St. Albert Impact FC. Coquitlam were national winners in 1987 (as Coquitlam United SC), 1990 (as Coquitlam Strikers) and 1994 (as Coquitlam Metro-Ford SC). Saskatoon LAFC Unity are in fact the first Saskatchewan team to ever reach the women&#039;s Canadian Final.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>",
