Coach Selaidopoulos has flown into Calgary to watch the first two days of the competition and present the National Teams philosophy to club coaches and players.

On the eve of the competition, Selaidopoulos presented to coaches and team staff from the qualified teams. His presentation highlighted the pathway and expectations for players hoping to play the game at the highest level with Canada Soccer’s National Teams.

On Friday night, Selaidopoulos will speak with players at the competition venue, the 7 Chiefs Sportsplex in Tsuut’ina Nation. Selaidopoulos and his coaching staff are preparing for the current 2026-29 futsal cycle that will include the men’s and women’s FIFA Futsal World Cups in 2028 and 2029, respectively.
