Canada to take on Denmark in January friendly

Men’s International Friendly scheduled for 26 January in Tucson, AZ.

Canada will begin its 2013 season with a Men’s International Friendly against Denmark on 26 January (local kick-off 13.00) at the Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium in Tucson, AZ.

The match will commence the Canadian team’s preparations for the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup to be hosted in USA from 7-28 July.

In 2012, Canada posted a record of four wins, two draws and three losses in nine international matches. Denmark’s record was two wins, three draws and six losses in 11 international matches. The last international match between Canada and Denmark was in 1995.

Both the coaching staff and player roster for the match will be announced at a later date.
