Canada to face St. Kitts and Nevis at BMO Field

Canada faces St. Kitts and Nevis this Tuesday 15 November at BMO Field in Toronto, ON. With first place already secured, Canada wants to finish the round on a strong note in front of its home fans. Tickets to the match are available via Ticketmaster (Ticketmaster.ca/1-855-985-5000).

This Tuesday’s Canada-St. Kitts and Nevis match will also be broadcast live on Rogers Sportsnet One. The 15 November match kicks off live at 19.00 ET / 16.00 PT, with on-air commentary by Gerry Dobson and Craig Forrest. The match falls on Match Day Six of CONCACAF Stage 2 of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil Qualifiers™.

Head Coach Stephen Hart is adamant that Canada needs to reward its home fans with a strong performance to close-out the second round of qualifying.

‘We owe it to the supporters,’ said Hart. ‘We know our last two performances haven’t been our best. We know that and we know what the problems are.’

Centre-back David Edgar who has been a part of the Canadian back-line that has kept four consecutive clean sheets is also keen to give the crowd at BMO Field something to get excited about.

‘We owe it to our fans to go out and put a good performance in on Tuesday,’ said Edgar. ‘We want to make it pleasing to watch and make it an exciting game for them.’

Edgar’s comments were also echoed by striker Tosaint Ricketts.

‘The fans really deserve a strong showing from us,’ Ricketts added. ‘We want to come out and play with a lot of passion and show the fans that we want this, that we want to make it to the FIFA World Cup™.’
