Canada Soccer’s Men’s U-20 National Team Announce Squad for 2026 Maurice Revello Tournament

Canada Soccer’s Men’s U-20 National Team (CANM20) have announced their 24-player squad for the 2026 Maurice Revello Tournament in France, marking an important preparation opportunity ahead of this summer’s 2026 Concacaf U-20 Championship.

The prestigious international youth tournament, formerly known as the Toulon Tournament, will take place from 31 May to 14 June across the south of France. Canada have been drawn into Group B alongside Venezuela, Japan, Ivory Coast, and Portugal.

“Participating in the Maurice Revello Tournament is an outstanding opportunity for this group to continue their development against some of the best youth national teams in the world. We’re excited to test ourselves in a highly competitive environment as we continue preparing for the Concacaf U-20 Championship this summer.” - Andrew Olivieri, Canada Soccer Men’s Youth Excel Director and CANM20 Head Coach

CANM20 will open the tournament against Venezuela on 1 June at Parc des Sports in Avignon before facing Japan on 6 June, Ivory Coast on 8 June, and Portugal on 11 June at Stade Bon Rencontre in Toulon. The winners of Group A and B will compete in the Final on 13 June, while runners-up in each group will compete for third place.

The tournament will provide valuable international experience for Canada ahead of the 2026 Concacaf U-20 Championship, where Canada was drawn into Group C alongside Honduras, Panama, and Jamaica. The competition, which will be held in Mexico from 24 July to 9 August, will serve as qualification for the 2027 FIFA U-20 World Cup™ and the 2028 Summer Olympics Men’s Football Tournament.

Canada qualified for the 2026 Concacaf U-20 Championship after finishing top of Group F at the 2026 Concacaf U-20 Qualifiers in Managua, Nicaragua earlier this year. CANM20 posted three wins from four matches and finished the group stage with a +23-goal difference, scoring 24 goals and conceding just once.
