Canada Soccer Unveils Official Logo for the W Canadian Championship

New visual identity marks the launch of the inaugural domestic pathway to the Concacaf W Champions Cup and FIFA Women's Club World Cup

Canada Soccer has unveiled the official logo for the inaugural W Canadian Championship, which will crown a national champion from the country’s top women’s clubs and serve as the 2026-27 domestic pathway to the 2027 Concacaf W Champions Cup and the 2028 FIFA Women’s Club World Cup.

The new mark brings together several elements central to Canadian Soccer's identity and the ambitions of the new competition. The bold maple leaf represents the country and the vastness of the nation the competition will unite. Proudly Purple, a symbol of our commitment to women and girls. The Federation crest sits centrally within the mark, creating a direct link to the shared ambition to grow the women's game across Canada. The symbol in the centre represents the rise of the Women’s game, momentum, optimism, and growth. A clean, bold wordmark completes the identity, designed for clarity and legibility across every platform the competition will live on.

The identity debuts ahead of the competition's opening match on Monday, August 3, when Halifax Tides FC hosts Ottawa Rapid FC in Halifax. Eight clubs, six from the Northern Super League and two from Premier Soccer Leagues Canada, will compete across three knockout rounds, beginning with the quarterfinals this August and October before the semifinals and final are played in the first half of 2027.

Competing Clubs:

  • AFC Toronto (NSL)
  • Calgary Wild FC (NSL)
  • CS Mont-Royal Outremont (LS Pro QC)
  • Halifax Tides FC (NSL)
  • Ottawa Rapid FC (NSL)
  • Montréal Roses FC (NSL)
  • Simcoe County Rovers FC (Ontario Premier League)
  • Vancouver Rise FC (NSL)

The new logo will appear across all W Canadian Championship broadcast, digital and matchday assets beginning with the quarterfinal round.
