Canada Soccer Launches New Marketing Toolkit on Club+ to Support Growth of Grassroots Soccer Nationwide
Canada Soccer Launches New Marketing Toolkit on Club+

Canada Soccer is proud to introduce the release of a new Marketing Toolkit within Canada Soccer Club+, a digital platform designed to equip community soccer clubs with professional resources that enhance visibility, attract new participants, and strengthen local soccer engagement across the country.
As Canada prepares to co-host FIFA World Cup 26™, the sport is experiencing unprecedented national interest. Through Club+, Canada Soccer is committing it’s support for Community Clubs in a manner that meaningfully benefits grassroots organizations — the true front lines of the game in Canada.
“Community Clubs are where the Canadian soccer journey begins,” said Sara McConaghy, Director of Community Development. “We are committed to supporting Clubs with tools that help them tell their story, grow participation, and create welcoming environments for every family, in every community. We encourage Clubs to navigate the Club+ platform and use what’s valuable to them, recognizing that community engagement is not a one size fits all approach.”
Making Soccer More Marketable for Community Clubs
The newly launched Marketing Toolkit empowers clubs to present themselves with a strong and credible brand presence — regardless of size, location, or staffing capacity. The Toolkit includes customizable promotional materials designed to convert community interest into program participation, all in alignment with Canada Soccer’s national messaging framework, highlighting the sport’s accessibility, its continued growth trajectory as Canada’s sport of the future, and the meaningful impact soccer has in communities from coast to coast to coast.
These resources are complemented by additional sections available on Club+, including:
Soccer in Schools — curriculum, equipment support, teacher engagement modules.
New to Canada Supports — tools to better welcome, engage, and retain newcomer families.
Community Clubs can look forward to more tools, templates, and training modules rolling out throughout 2026 as part of the Club+ platform.
“The Marketing Toolkit is about giving every community club the ability to showcase the incredible work they do and the opportunities they provide,” added Dominic Martin, Director, Marketing at Canada Soccer. “As excitement builds toward FIFA World Cup 26™, we want to ensure that grassroots soccer benefits from this momentum. By equipping clubs with professional, customizable resources that align with Canada Soccer’s national positioning for the sport, we’re helping them attract new participants, strengthen their brand, and ultimately grow the game in every corner of the country.”
Built With — and For — Community Clubs
The Club+ platform is being built through ongoing consultation with community organizations across Canada. Their input influences every phase of development to ensure practical value at the ground level.
“Club+ isn’t a static product — it’s a living platform,” added Sara McConaghy. “Community clubs are shaping it with us. As we move through 2026, we’ll continue to introduce new tools and refine existing ones based on the real-world needs of operators and volunteers. The game grows when we build it together.”
