Canada Soccer Hosts Jersey Swap in Toronto’s Little Italy
Grieving fans can trade in their Italy kits for a free 2026 CANMNT jersey and get behind the home side ahead of this summer's FIFA World Cup.

Following Italy’s loss to Bosnia-Herzegovina earlier this week, eliminating the Azzuri from the World Cup, Canada Soccer is inviting Italian-Canadians to get behind the home team.
On Saturday, April 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Canada Soccer will be outside Cafe Diplomatico on College Street in Toronto’s Little Italy, offering fans the chance to swap their Italy colours for a Canada Soccer Men's National Team jersey and join the momentum heading into the FIFA World Cup 26™.

We want every Canadian — no matter their historic allegiances — to join the momentum around our men’s national team, because this time, it’s Canada.”

This initiative is part of the Federation's new Our Game Now brand position, a bold new brand position that reflects what soccer in Canada has grown into: exciting, confident, and undeniably a part of the country’s cultural pulse. Launched in late March during CANMNT's match against Iceland. Continuing the Road to 2026, the campaign will continue to show up throughout the final two sendoff CANMNT matches, introducing and keeping a new consistent creative approach across content, social, and match day.
