    "body": "<p>Canada Soccer announced that Jasmine Mander has been hired<br>\u200bas a Performance Analyst for the Women&rsquo;s National Team. The former Canadian<br>\u200byouth player will play an important role as part of the coaching staff with the<br>\u200bteam getting ready to kick off Canada&rsquo;s 2021 season in the build up to the<br>\u200bTokyo 2020 Olympic Games.</p><p>&ldquo;We are really excited to welcome Jasmine to our team and I<br>\u200blook forward to working with her as we start our journey towards the Tokyo 2020<br>\u200bOlympic Games,&rdquo; said Bev Priestman, Canada Soccer&rsquo;s Women&rsquo;s National Team Head<br>\u200bCoach. &ldquo;Jasmine has been in the Canada Soccer coach education system, she has<br>\u200bbeen a coach in our REX program, and as a former player also knows what it<br>\u200bmeans to wear the Canadian jersey. She is hungry to be the best that she can<br>\u200bbe, and I know she will strive to contribute to bringing this team to the next<br>\u200blevel.&rdquo;</p><p>Mander of Delta, BC earned her Canada Soccer B Licence in<br>\u200b2015 and is currently a Canada Soccer A Licence candidate. Mander most recently<br>\u200bserved as a coach in the Vancouver Whitecaps FC BMO Academy System, which is<br>\u200bpart of the Regional EXCEL centres program in British Columbia, since 2014. She<br>\u200balso served as a coach educator for BC Soccer and volunteers on the BC Soccer<br>\u200bDiversity and Inclusion Committee. In December 2020, she was recognized by the<br>\u200bWomen&rsquo;s Executive Network (WXN) in Canada&rsquo;s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Awards.</p><p>As a player, Mander was 15 years old when she made her<br>\u200bdebut in the Canadian youth program in 2010. She was part of the U-15 and U-17<br>\u200bWomen&rsquo;s National Youth Teams from 2010 to 2012 and was also part of the National<br>\u200bTraining Centre / REX program in British Columbia.
