Canada Soccer held its annual Provincial Promotion Referee Course 16-18 May in Montreal, QC. This was the sixth time the centralized course was run, with 24 officials from eight Provinces (BC, AB, SK, ON, MB, QC, NB, NS) attending. Canada Soccer Referee Committee Chair Carman King (NS) lead the course with National Instructors Garth Elgie (QC), and Isaac Raymond (ON), along with two guest instructors Marie-Eve Bergeron (QC) and Bedik Charchafian (QC). Instructors Raymond and King have attended four FIFA Futuro Courses.

The Provincial Promotion Referee Course featured two days of intensive practical and theoretical sessions, held at the Quebec Soccer Federation.
