Canada Soccer Club Licensing Program announces 22 new recipients
Canada Soccer has announced one new Member Association Level 1 club license holder, six Member Association Level 2 club license holders, as well as fifteen new Quality Soccer Providers in Ontario. Since its launch in 2018, more than 120 clubs have received club licences which are valid for a two-year period.
“We are pleased to recognize this latest group of Ontario clubs for achieving the Standards for Quality Soccer, Member Association Level 1, and Member Association Level 2 stages of club licensing. This represents another important step forward in the continued growth and development of the Canada Soccer Club Licensing Program. Their achievement reflects a clear commitment to strong governance, quality technical delivery, and creating positive soccer environments for participants. The continual improvement, and development being shown by these clubs will have a lasting impact on soccer in their communities.
Alongside the clubs already licensed, these organizations are demonstrating leadership within their communities by providing safe, welcoming, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate soccer experiences. Their continued commitment to raising standards and creating meaningful opportunities for players, coaches, referees, and volunteers reflects the values at the heart of the Canada Soccer Club Licensing Program.
Canada Soccer extends its appreciation to our Member Associations for their continued collaboration and support in advancing the Club Licensing Program, and to all licensed clubs for their ongoing dedication to elevating the quality and consistency of soccer experiences for participants across Canada.” - Jordan Stewart, Canada Soccer’s Manager of Club Licensing
