Canada Soccer Appoints Mallory White as Director of Medical

Canada Soccer is pleased to announce the appointment of Mallory White as Director of Medical, a newly created leadership position designed to strengthen medical leadership, enhance collaboration, and support athlete health, safety, and performance across the National Team programs and rest of organization.

White brings extensive experience within Canada Soccer, most recently serving as Women’s National Team Medical Lead for the past five years at various Olympic Games and FIFA Women World Cups. Her deep understanding of the organization’s high-performance environment, combined with her demonstrated ability to build connections across programs, positions her to lead the continued evolution of Canada Soccer’s medical services.

In her new role, White will oversee Canada Soccer’s Medical Department, providing strategic leadership, long-term planning, and greater alignment across Senior and Youth National Team programs. She will work closely with medical practitioners, performance staff, coaches, operational leaders, and the Canada Soccer Medical Committee, while strengthening relationships with Provincial and Territorial Soccer Organizations (PTSOs), professional leagues, and clubs.

“Mallory has demonstrated exceptional leadership and a strong ability to bring people and programs together. Her work in creating greater alignment between our Senior and Youth National Team environments has strengthened collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuity across programs. She is the ideal person to lead our medical function as we continue to grow and evolve as an organization.” - Mathieu Chamberland, Chief of Soccer Operations and Associate General Secretary

A key priority of the newly established position will be building a more connected and consistent approach to medical services across Canada Soccer’s National Team environments, ensuring athletes and staff benefit from shared expertise, coordinated planning and continuity of care.

“I’m incredibly proud to take on this new role and continue working alongside the talented medical and performance professionals across Canada Soccer. We have an opportunity to build on the strong foundations already in place, strengthen collaboration across our National Team programs and bring new initiatives to how we care for our athletes. I’m excited to support our dedicated medical practitioners in this work and help create a more consistent, coordinated approach that puts athlete health, safety, and performance at the centre of everything we do.” - Mallory White, Director of Medical

The creation of the Director of Medical position reflects Canada Soccer’s continued investment in strengthening its high-performance infrastructure and building a more integrated, collaborative, and sustainable approach to athlete care across the Canadian soccer system.
