Canada Soccer have announced their preliminary schedule for the 2022 Toyota National Championships that will be played across three Canadian cities this October. Preliminary schedules have been announced for the two adult competitions in Vaughan Ontario (Women’s Jubilee Trophy and Men’s Challenge Trophy), the U-17 Cup in Surrey, British Columbia and the U-15 Cup in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.

Canada Soccer’s Toyota National Championships serves as our nation’s premier amateur competition and provides a meaningful soccer experience for participating teams and their players, coaches, support staff, as well as for officials and volunteers. Other Canada Soccer club competitions are the Canadian Championship and the Futsal Canadian Championship.

This year’s Toyota National Championships run from 5 to 10 October 2022. This is the first Toyota National Championships since the global pandemic, with the last season of winners crowned in 2019. This year’s six national champions in the three age categories will be crowned on Teck Finals Day across both Sunday 9 October and Monday 10 October.

The final schedule for the Toyota National Championships will be released mid-September after all the clubs have qualified through their provincial playdowns. This year’s competition will feature 60 teams: eight finalists in the Jubilee Trophy competition; 10 finalists in the Challenge Trophy; 10 finalists in the Girls’ U-17 Cup; 11 finalists in the Boys’ U-17 Cup; 10 finalists in the Girls’ U-15 Cup; and 11 finalists in the Boys’ U-15 Cup.
