Canada Soccer has announced twenty-nine coaches that completed the requirements of its Advanced Coach Education Program for April/May 2021. The cohort includes six female coaches that completed their Canada Soccer B Licence and Northwest Territories Soccer Association Technical Director Huw Morris, who received his Children’s Licence.

The Canada Soccer B Licence is the
\u200bentry point to the Performance Stream and continues the facilitation of
\u200blearning opportunities so that coaches may work effectively with senior players
\u200bin the Performance Stream pathway and prepares them to progress to the Canada
\u200bSoccer A Licence.

The Canada Soccer Children’s Licence
\u200bis an A Licence equivalent for coaches working with children between the ages
\u200bof 5-12. The Licence aims to provide coaches with the tools they need to create
\u200bthe best development environments for as many players as possible at their
\u200bclub/academy.

The Canada Soccer Youth Licence provides
\u200bcoaches with theoretical and practical components focusing on holistic,
\u200beffective coaching of youth players between the ages of 13-18 including
\u200bdesigning, delivering and reflecting on all aspects of on and off field
\u200bactivities.

Canada Soccer Advanced Coach
\u200bEducation Program Licences are valid for a three-year term.
