Canada Soccer and TikTok Team Up to Give Soccer Fans an Exclusive Inside Look with New In-App Content

Canada Soccer and TikTok today announced a new content collaboration focused on offering exclusive Men’s National Team digital designed for the next generation of sports fans. Content will kick-off the week of June 8.
The collaboration will see Canada Soccer develop and distribute vertical-first, personality-driven storytelling that highlights the players who are aiming to win the hearts of Canadians this summer. Through digital content created by Canada Soccer's in-house content team, soccer fans on TikTok will gain new perspectives on Canada’s roster.
From conversations about personal style to their perspectives on each other, it’s another intentional step by Canada Soccer to showcase the Men’s National Team ahead of the FIFA World Cup tailored to the way fans want to participate in global moments – with game-changing, behind-the-scenes access.
The announcement builds on Canada Soccer's continued investment in digital storytelling and its commitment to creating content that connects with sports fandom across platforms and generations.
"The way fans consume digital content continues to evolve, and our goal is to keep creating stories that resonate with audiences wherever they are. TikTok has become a leading platform for sports storytelling, particularly among younger audiences who value authenticity, personality and immediacy. This collaboration allows us to continue diversifying our content offering while creating more opportunities to showcase the people and moments that define our teams.”
-Paulo Senra, Chief Communications & Content Officer at Canada Soccer
"Sports continues to be one of the fastest-growing communities on TikTok, driven by fans who want content that feels authentic, entertaining and native to the platform. Canada Soccer has established itself as a leader in digital storytelling, consistently creating content that resonates with audiences. We're excited to work together to develop original programming that celebrates the personalities and stories shaping Canadian soccer."
