Canada moved up two spots to 10th place on the newest ranking released this 12 March. Canada, whose title partner is Winners and whose presenting partner is Teck, remains the second-ranked team within CONCACAF behind the world&rsquo;s number-one ranked nation, USA.<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200bThe FIFA/Coca-Cola Women&rsquo;s World Rankings looks at each country&rsquo;s international results from the last four years. The ranking takes into account the result, the importance of the match, the strength of the opponent, the regional strength, the time period, and the number of matches per year.<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200bCanada&rsquo;s rise comes on the heels of five-straight international victories between 20 February and 3 March. Canada won 3:0 over Poland in an international friendly before winning four-straight matches and a trophy at the 2010 Cyprus Women&rsquo;s Cup. Canada won 2:1 over Switzerland, 1:0 over England, 2:1 over South Africa, and 1:0 over New Zealand.<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200bCanada is currently preparing for the 2010 CONCACAF Women&rsquo;s Gold Cup, the competition that will qualify two or three teams from the region to the FIFA Women&rsquo;s World Cup Germany 2011. Canada has qualified for each of the past four FIFA Women&rsquo;s World Cups.
