Most of the players took part in the first afternoon session on Monday 31 August, with the balance of the players arrived just north of Toronto before dinner. Canada will face Belize in a home-and-away series that kicks off Friday 4 September at BMO Field in Toronto. Tickets to the match, presented by BMO, are available via Ticketmaster.ca starting at just $20. The match will also be broadcast across the country on migmultidev-canada-soccer.pantheonsite.io.

Canada is scheduled to train Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday in Alliston before heading south to Toronto. The team will have one training session at BMO Field before facing Belize on Friday night. Canada then travels Sunday to Belmopán, Belize ahead of the Tuesday 8 September second leg at FFB Stadium.

It will mark Canada’s first trip to Belize since 1983. The winner of the two-leg series will advance to CONCACAF Round 4 of FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, joining the winner of the Curaçao-El Salvador series plus Mexico and Honduras in a four-nation group phase.

From a group of 35 CONCACAF nations, 18 remain in the hunt for the 3.5 spots to the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018. Six CONCACAF nations will be eliminated in this round on 8 September.
