    "body": "<p>Canada has maintained the fifth spot within CONCACAF on the most recent FIFA/Coca-Cola World Rankings. Canada has 573 points and is ranked 57th on the world ranking, still ahead of its best ranking from a year ago. Canada trails USA, Mexico, Honduras and Costa Rica within its own confederation.<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200bThe FIFA/Coca-Cola World Rankings looks at each country&rsquo;s international results from the last four years. The ranking takes into account the result, the importance of the match, the strength of the opponent, the regional strength, the time period, and the number of matches per year.<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200bCanada made significant jumps on the ranking in August and October, reaching 53rd on the global list of 207 nations. Canada dropped four spots on the November ranking, although it maintained fifth spot amongst CONCACAF nations.<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200bIn 2009, Canada has posted four wins, one draw and three losses. It recently lost 0:3 to FYR Macedonia on 14 November and 0:1 to Poland on 18 November.<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200b<br>\u200bAs for the world ranking, Spain has resumed the number-one spot ahead of Brazil.
