    "body": "<p>Goalkeeper Maxime Cr&eacute;peau of league winners Los Angeles FC led all Canadians with 2,970 minutes played during Major League Soccer&rsquo;s 2022 regular season. He also co-led all Canadians with 33 appearances (alongside CF Montr&eacute;al&rsquo;s Alistair Johnston) and led all Canadians with nine clean sheets. It marked the second year in a row that Cr&eacute;peau led all Canadians in MLS minutes and MLS clean sheets.<br>\u200b<br>\u200bThis past season, a record 51 different Canadians featured in at least one MLS match. From that group, 13 of them featured for Vancouver Whitecaps FC, 20 of them featured for Toronto FC, and 11 of them featured for CF Montr&eacute;al. The Canadian group combined for a record 52,749 MLS minutes while CF Montr&eacute;al set an MLS team record with 16,053 minutes played by Canadians.<br>\u200b<br>\u200bVancouver&rsquo;s Lucas Cavallini and Toronto&rsquo;s Jonathan Osorio co-led all Canadians with nine MLS goals during the regular season. Cavallini previously led all Canadians in MLS goals in 2020 while Osorio previously led all Canadians in MLS goals in 2018. Osorio also co-led all Canadians with six assists and led all Canadians with a 90.8 pass percentage. Edwards co-led all Canadians with six assists and led all Canadians with 44 tackles and 60 dribbles.<br>\u200b<br>\u200bLos Angeles FC finished at the top of the 28-team table with 67 points to win the MLS Supporters&rsquo; Shield. Of the 14 teams that made the playoffs, third-place CF Montr&eacute;al was the lone Canadian team to reach the playoffs. During the regular season, CF Montr&eacute;al set club records with 65 points, 20 wins, 63 goals scored and 11 road wins.
