Buchanan, Fleming win FA Women’s Super League

Canadians Kadeisha Buchanan and Jessie Fleming have helped Chelsea FC win their fourth FA Women’s Super League championship in a row. The duo helped Chelsea FC win the 2022-23 league title by just two points over runners up Manchester United FC.

For midfielder Fleming, who joined Chelsea FC before the 2020-21 season, it is her third consecutive FA Women’s Super League title. For centre back Buchanan, who arrived at the start of this season, it is her first league title in England.

Across 22 matches, Chelsea FC posted 19 wins, one draw and just two losses. Fleming featured in 20 of those 22 matches while Buchanan featured in 16 league matches.

Along with the league title, both players also helped Chelsea FC win the 2023 FA Cup at Wembley Stadium on 14 May.
