    "body": "<p>Atl&eacute;tico Gatineau came from behind to win the men&#039;s 2025 Futsal Canadian Championship after they beat two-time defending champions 9 de Octubre FC Toronto on Sunday 13 April in the Canadian Final. Adam P&eacute;ladeau was the hero after he scored his 13th, 14th and 15th goals of the week in the 3:2 victory over Toronto at Brandt Arena in Regina, Saskatchewan.</p><p>Sixteen teams competed in the two divisions of the 2025 Futsal Canadian Championship, hosted this year in Regina&#039;s REAL District. Atl&eacute;tico Gatineau won the men&#039;s division while Saskatoon SK Impact FC won the women&#039;s division.</p><p>Gatineau started their comeback with still four minutes to go in the first half after P&eacute;ladeau scored on a pass from K&eacute;vin L&eacute;vry. Toronto veterans Joshua Paredes-Proctor and Alejandro Portal had given 9 de Octubre the 2-0 lead with both goals assisted by Matthew Rios.</p><p>In the second half, P&eacute;ladeau equalised just after two minutes on a corner kick from Bila Dicko-Raynauld. That goal set a new record for most goals by a player in the Futsal Canadian Championship. Then with just three minutes to go, MVP P&eacute;ladeau completed his hat trick with the 3-2 winner.</p><p>This year marked the ninth edition of Canada Soccer&#039;s men&#039;s Futsal Canadian Championship since the competition was inaugurated in 2015. Atl&eacute;tico Gatineau are the sixth different winner of the competition. Led by coach Andr&eacute;-Pierre Laurin, the 2025 winning team featured goalkeepers Anthony Dupuis and Louis-Philippe Legault as well as outfield players Alexandre Basiala, Bila Dicko-Raynauld, Alaaeddine Fathi, Heikel Jarras, K&eacute;vin L&eacute;vry, Tyrese Leyan Simbi, Papa Mbodji, Adam N&#039;Goran, Cyrille Ndikizang, Patrick Pacheco, Adam P&eacute;ladeau, and Goran Tosic.
